One of the "tools" we use to assess individual overall strength are coefficient scores. Coefficients are paired up with an athlete's body weight that we use to break down their bench press, back squat, and power clean lift totals.
Thus, we can compare athletes who weigh 125 lbs to athletes who weigh 300 lbs.

When you open up the Individual Coefficient Manager all you have to do is type in the gold cells and the Big 3 Total Coefficient score will appear on the far right hand side.

General guidelines and goals we have for our players:

400-450+ Big 3 Coefficient by March of their Freshman Year
500-525+ Big 3 Coefficient by March of their Sophomore Year
550-600+ Big 3 Coefficient by March of their Junior Year
625++ Senior Football Season

On average (and I stress average) we can expect the following strength gains each school year:

Bench Press: 30-50 lbs (August to August)
Back Squat- 60-80 lbs (August to August)
Power Clean- 40-60 lbs (August to August)

BALANCE... POWER... ENDURANCE...
