NOBLESVILLE FOOTBALL PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT

Noblesville football’s mission is to be a positive influence on all its participants. We will do this in many ways. Our program will provide a disciplined environment that will focus on the life lessons necessary for young men's success. This will involve a process that will enable our program to build and enhance each young person’s value system and character. The primary objective is to prepare young people for the challenges that await them in life. One hundred percent of our players will take with them the values and disciplines we teach; only about fifteen percent will ever use the football skills they learn. The football program’s mission is divided into four objectives.

1. The Noblesville football program will represent its school, family, community, and itself with character, integrity, honesty, and humility at all times.

2 The Noblesville football program will provide a positive environment that stresses discipline, values, and the characteristics of a healthy, productive and successful lifestyle.

3. The Noblesville football program will continue to increase participation in the sport at all levels through camps, clinics, and active involvement and leadership in all levels of football in Noblesville.

4. The Noblesville football program will teach the football fundamentals and techniques necessary to win football games and championships.

These objectives will be accomplished when we complete the following phases of our program. The first phase is to teach young men to take pride in their membership in our program.  Player’s must be held accountable, must be dependable, and must demonstrate responsibility. Team morale and unity will be established through player’s commitment to our program.  The second phase will deal with the psychological and physical aspects of a young man. We must instill the work ethic and desire to set and accomplish both team and personal goals. Players must then be willing to give of themselves to help our program attain its goals.  Our off-season program will require a commitment; it will also incorporate a demanding strength and agility program designed to build both physical and mental strength as well as character and self-image. Nothing comes easy in life, whether it be football, relationships, academics or one’s chosen profession. It is paramount that each player understands the key to success is preparation. The third and final phase is an extension of the first two.  Successful people and teams not only prepare and set goals but set themselves apart by attending to details. Our personal and team goals aren’t to be good; they are to be the best.  Every aspect of a young person’s life can be successful if they make commitments to hard work, to prepare, and to pay special attention to details. We will strive to master the fundamental football skills and techniques necessary to win games and championships.

When these phases are completed, the football program will have taught and enhanced the life lessons deemed necessary for a young man’s success.  The program will have assisted its members with their college plans and future endeavors. We will also have won games and championships. Finally and most importantly, the Noblesville football program will leave a very positive and indelible impression on each young person that participates in the Noblesville football program.
